Eleanor Donates Corn Snake to School
Our school recently welcomed an exciting new addition, thanks to the generosity of our student teaching assistant, Eleanor.
Eleanor has kindly donated her corn snake, ‘Citrus’ to the school, and he’s quickly become a favourite in the classroom. His gentle nature allows the children to interact with him safely, while also learning about reptiles and animal care. Eleanor hoped that Citrus would help students appreciate animals they might not normally encounter, and so far, he has done just that. Citrus is already contributing to discussions on biology, responsibility, and empathy. The students are actively helping to care for Citrus, adding a hands-on dimension to their learning experience. We are incredibly grateful to Eleanor for her thoughtful donation. Citrus is already making a positive impact and will continue to enrich the students’ education for years to come!
